The Ggy-ynt system was located in the Esuain sector,[1] a part of the Trans-Hydian portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] It was the origin point of[4] the pirate gang known as the Bandits of Ggy-ynt.[5]
Behind the scenes
The Ggy-ynt system was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square Q-7.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Bandits of Ggy-ynt in relation to the Ggy-ynt system.
