The Bandits of Ggy-ynt were a pirate organization[1] that originated in[2] the Ggy-ynt system of the Mid Rim's Esuain sector.[3] At some point by 2 ABY,[4] the Ithorian pirate twins Denuab and Dorin—known as the Venithon Twins—had been members of the Bandits of Ggy-ynt.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Bandits of Ggy-ynt were first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Bandits of Ggy-ynt in relation to the Ggy-ynt system.
