The Geonosian alphabet was the written form of the language used by Geonosians, a species of sentient insects from the planet Geonosis.[1] When Poggle the Lesser entrusted Count Dooku with the Death Star plans during the First Battle of Geonosis, the typeface was used on a set of display screens in their secret meeting room.[2]

The alphabet appeared on a monitor in a nest where the lone Geonosian Klik-Klak made his home on Geonosis. However, it produced nothing but gibberish when transliterated, suggesting that the message was not in Galactic Basic.[3]
