The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official non-canon information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A sun was orbited by the planet Genbara[1] and a moon around it[2] in the Genbara system within a sector of the Outer Rim Territories. As Genbara was a quiet world, most people lived by the rhythm of its sun, rather than by the precision of a chronometer.[1]

When the former Sith known as the Ronin and his astromech droid companion R5-D56 wandered around Genbara, its sun brought the warmth of spring after a chilly night. Later that day, when Bandit Troopers raided a village near a mountainous area of the planet, their leader Kouru emerged from their Troop Transport Tank under glaring sunlight.[1]

By the time the conflict ended, with help from the Ronin and bodyguards hired by the villagers, the sun had arced past its zenith. A day later, the Ronin and R5-D56 walked away from the village in the direction of Osou spaceport, where, upon arrival, the sun had begun to set.[1]

Behind the scenes

Genbara's sun appeared in the non-canon novel Ronin: A Visions Novel, written by Emma Mieko Candon[1] and published on October 12, 2021. Prior to its release, a mention of the sun was included in an excerpt published on StarWars.com on September 27 of the same year.[3]
