The Gem was a space station where the nobles traded rare art, antiques, latest fashion and exotic delicacies for tear opals.^[1] It was located in the Unknown Regions in grid square G-14 of the Standard Galactic Grid,^[2] and orbited the planet known as the Deep.^[1]
