A gas mixture monitor was a rectangular gray device with a brown strap at each corner that allowed it to be mounted on a user's chest. During the High Republic Era, the alien Deesh Crozli wore a gas mixture monitor and a pressure-mask while on the planet Ueda as she needed to periodically immerse her soft tissues in an atmospheric mixture that matched that of her homeworld.[1] She had the monitor on when she spoke with the Sith assassin Mae-ho Aniseya at the gate[2] to Ueda's capital, Point Ueda,[1] in 132 BBY.[3]
Behind the scenes
A gas mixture monitor appeared in "Lost / Found,"[2] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] The monitor was first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
