A gas chamber was a blaster component. It stored the blaster gas used in the weapon. The chamber was connected to the gas refill valve which allowed the blaster to have its expended gas refilled. Pulling the weapon's trigger opened the Heter-Valve, which allowed small amounts of blaster gas to leave the gas chamber and pass into the XCiter.[1]
