Garcornia

Garcornia was a celestial body[3] located in the Garcornia system, a part of the Mid Rim's Ado sector.[1] It was the origin point of Garcornian spice.[4][5] By 3638 BBY,[6] multiple manufacturing plants were situated on Garcornia.[3] That year,[6] mass riots took place on the celestial body, leaving dozens of the factories in a state of disarray.[3]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

During the chaos, an individual affiliated with one of the sides in the then-ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire sent a companion to acquire any valuable assets from the facilities.[3]

Behind the scenes

Garcornia was introduced in Rise of the Hutt Cartel, a 2013 expansion for the 2011 BioWare video game, Star Wars: The Old Republic.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Garcornia system, and therefore the celestial body, in grid square M-17.[2]
