Galaxy of Fear: Ghost of the Jedi is the fifth book in the young readers Star Wars: Galaxy of Fear series.
Publisher's summary
Tash, Zak, and their uncle Hoole are on the run from evil Imperial scientist Borborygmus Gog. The only place to hide is on Nespis 8, an abandoned space station.
There used to be a giant Jedi library on Nespis 8. According to Deevee, the library is still there, but it's cursed…and haunted by the ghost of a Jedi.
If they can find the library, maybe Tash and Zak can find a way to stop Gog.
But something evil dwells on Nespis 8.
And it's much scarier than a Jedi ghost.
Plot summary
Looking for help against the Empire, Tash Arranda contacts her anonymous HoloNet friend "Forceflow", who has helped her over the past year with information about the Force and the Jedi. She arranges a rendezvous in the ancient space station of Nespis VIII, a sprawling city frequented by treasure hunters seeking the fabled Jedi library of old. With the help of a Jedi spirit, Aidan Bok, Tash discovers she is Force-sensitive, and also that Forceflow is in fact the evil scientist Borborygmus Gog, who tries to lure Tash into one of his insidious experimental devices, an essence stealer that would extract her life force.
