The GLiS Emergency Medpac or General Life-Sustaining Emergency Medpac was a basic medpac manufactured by Chiewab Amalgamated Pharmaceuticals Company. It contained treatments for broken bones, contusions, burns and traumatic injuries. It carried a variety of medicines that could be administered through a spray hypo, as well as a bone stabilizer and spray splints for immobilizing and protecting broken bones.[1]
The medpac's computer stored information on treatment methods for one species at a time, typically Human, but further program modules for thousands of other species could be purchased. The computer had a limited diagnostic scanner that allowed the user to monitor a patient's vital signs on a constant basis.[1]
