The GA-series servant droid,[6] or just GA servant droid for short, was a model of servant droid.[2] It had collapsable legs for compact storage, contained a power plant, and featured hydraulic lines.[7] By the year 34 ABY,[8] GA units were used in Takodana Castle on the planet Takodana. One such servant droid was GA-97, a member of the Resistance spy droid network[9] who informed the Resistance that one of their astromech droids, BB-8, was on Takodana.[5]
