A fusioncutter,[1] sometimes spelled fusion cutter,[2] was a type of handheld cutting and welding torch with an energy blade that was commonly found in toolkits.[1] After the battles with the Galactic Republic, EV-A4-D, General Grievous's personal medical droid,[3] frequently repaired the cyborg's body.[2] When Grievous's face mask needed to be replaced,[3] it must be cruelly removed from his face with a fusion cutter.[2]
