The fusion lantern or fusion lamp was a handheld light and heat source. Larger than a glowrod, it weighed two kilograms and illuminated a ten-meter radius. From 32 BBY to 8 ABY, fusion lanterns were available for 25 credits.

During the Clone Wars, fusion lamps were used on the moon Dorumaa by members of the organization of the crime lord Rufus Trammel.
