Urthha (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

Following up on a recently archived SH discussion, I can't think of a reason this should be a separate article from Earth (planet). (That may or may not be the right title for that article, but that may be another discussion.) The passage in Monsters and Aliens From George Lucas is clearly a joke where aliens are abducted by humans rather than the other way around. Little or nothing is gained by ignoring commonsensical explanations and pretending that it may be a completely different planet. —Silly Dan (talk) 21:46, May 11, 2014 (UTC)

Discussion

  • "Little or nothing is gained by ignoring commonsensical explanations and pretending that it may be a completely different planet." Seems to me that by that thinking, this wiki should remove everything that is an IU (whether canon legends or not) reference to something OOU that we deem is a joke, such as the ET senators, Earth System and Spaceport THX1138...     • That's not what I meant. Obviously we can have articles on individual planets/species/solar systems/spaceports/characters etc. whether they're references to something in reality or not. The point I'm trying to make is that since the planet described in Earth (planet) (an article taking into account jokes from Star Tours, the Indiana Jones crossover, and the official site's blog) is obviously the same real world planet as the one joked about in Monsters and Aliens, there's no point in having two articles. —Silly Dan (talk) 05:08, May 14, 2014 (UTC)
