Unidentified Ugnaught (Trueping's) (talk - history - links - logs)
So, this pig walks into a bar...
This is a pig in a cantina people. The entirety of his active appearance is him taking a single shot of some beverage. No lines, completely non-notable and not worth an article unless we're going to make a one line article for each patron seen walking or dancing in the background of this scene. I usually lean on the side of inclusionism if the individual has even a single word of dialogue or does even a minor noteworthy action. This guy does neither. - JMAS

- There are too many TCW articles like this. We should really clear them out. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 08:14, June 9, 2013 (UTC)
- This is the first of many that should be deleted. Stake black msg 02:04, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

- I'll be completely honest here: We don't need this article. No one is going to search for this Ugnaught. Its existence contributes nothing to the site. That being said, however, we need to establish some sort of notability policy, and until then we're going to have to put up with articles like this. (As a deletionist, this makes me cringe.) We can't keep being picky. Corellian Premier brings up an excellent point regarding Unidentified balding Human (Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina). Silly Dan is correct in saying that this article would be more likely to pass notability requirements than the Ugnaught, but the point remains: If that article continues to exist (as a Comprehensive Article, might I add), then this article about some random Ugnaught seen fleetingly in a single episode of The Clone Wars should stay as well. (On a side note, I would argue that the Ugnaught gets more screen time than the balding man, so perhaps the question of which character is more notable is not so clear.) Now, this does not mean we should open the floodgates and allow for articles like "Unidentified clone trooper 476 (Geonosis)" to be created; should that happen, I'll delete them without hesitation. However, I see no reason why this article should be deleted when similar articles continue to exist in the absence of notability guidelines. Grand Moff Tranner

- I have to agree with Tranner here. As I'm sure most already know, I thrive on the little, insignificant articles, and thus, material in Star Wars. The majority of my status articles are or are based on small, seemingly insignificant items that can only be found once in all of Star Wars. I've always believed that as a comprehensive wiki, it was our duty to record everything relevant about Star Wars, no matter how small. As Tranner said, I definitely do not think there should be an article for every stormtrooper ever shot at in a Battlefront game. However, there is a significant difference between a no-face, no-name stormtrooper and a character like that bald guy. I'm not entirely convinced that this article should be kept. However, consider this vote to be a statement vote for the discussion of notability. At the very least, this article should be kept until we can actually figure something out for notability guidelines. Otherwise, we're going to have a million of these types of TCs with a million different outcomes, since it will be left to the current and changing discretion of the voter.—Cal Jedi

- Baldy there is in the movies, and has a slightly less slim chance of getting a name someday (or getting his BTS section filled out if anyone identifies the extra playing him.) If Wookieepedia had a notability policy for in-universe articles (which it doesn't), he'd thus be more likely to pass it. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:36, June 4, 2013 (UTC)
