I happen to think that some of these things we are junking could have usefulness if properly done. Would not that make it easier and more useful to the reader or researcher? Remember, our priority should be to have a wonderful repository of information that the readers and casual fans could easily access and search. — Fiolli {Alpheridies University ComNet} 02:39, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

  • Why not just make sure that this information is merged into a large list of all Star Wars sources? Why could we not have one master list of all books, films, games, comics, magazines, etc.? We do, hence this TC. Toprawa and Ralltiir 06:37, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

      • It's not about throwing water on "my" TC plans, it's about people, and I say this in general, not about you directly, Fiolli, getting unnecessarily defensive that Oh My God, we're deleting articles. Perhaps this is a subjective statement, but I think it's pretty clear most of these things we have been and are "junking" are redundant nonsense articles that would be speedied right off the bat if created today.       • And I will add that it's not as if we're just throwing these articles into the TC process with reckless abandon with no time taken to assess whether some of these are legitimate. More than a few articles that have gone through the process since we started what I will call this "TC wave" have avoided deletion, because people, including myself, do indeed take the time consider an article's worth.
