Template:Marrname (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

I'm nominating this template for deletion because it's unnecessary and, worse, has the potential to be misleading. This template carries the incorrect implication that the name of the article subject is somehow conjectural or not official because it's the name of the character's spouse. Of the only articles that have ever used this template (all married female characters), every one of them is canonically identified by their married name in the source. But just because they use their spouse's married name doesn't mean we need a special header template to denote this. Their names, whether they're the spouse's or not, are official, and that's all that matters for our purposes. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:35, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
