Template:Double image (talk - history - links - logs - delete - protect)
The double image template is a template that I was unaware existed. Looking at the articles the template is used on, almost everyone else didn't know about it either. As it stands, it is used on one mainspace article on the entire wiki (Jedi Credit), and its sole presence otherwise is in a talk page archive (sorry Cade) and a Senate Hall thread from a decade ago discussing its existence. The functionality of this template is incredibly conditional, evidently to the point that its use has been virtually nonexistent. In the case of the lone article on which it is used, the images can easily be edited to be side-by-side in the same image. It seems pointless to keep this template around any longer. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 08:36, 4 September 2024 (UTC)

Keep
- What's it hurting to keep it? And it is being used, if even on a single page. - JMAS

- While I’m well aware the wiki isn’t exactly hurting for space, this is a template seeing a single use on the entire wiki. If the template was used widely and perhaps codified for the implementation of two images in one area then this wouldn’t be an issue, but as it stands it is effectively deprecated by the far more widespread practice of editing images side-by-side into one. In actual practice the template has become pointless, and replacing its usage on the sole page in question with a re-edited single image is an incredibly easy task. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 18:45, 6 September 2024 (UTC)

- Using this template sounds far more efficient than combining images by using a graphics editor. Xd1358 (Talk) 20:52, 11 September 2024 (UTC)

- Upon viewing this TC, I have become aware of the existence of this neat and nifty template. I will definitely be utilising it in future - thanks for the heads up and of course, therefore I must vote to retain it, if I desire to plan on doing the aforementioned. :p — Commander Bhatoa (talk) 17:50, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
