TCW non-notables - Chapter II
Again we strike at the heart of the non-notable masses that are occupying unworthy space within Wookieepedia. Apologies in advance for the recent "heavy pressure" around the TC. Anyway, quite a few more this time that don't meet the minimum requirements, imo, here they come:

- None of these are notable. The argument for number 4 below is flawed in that the linked clone trooper was featured in an action figure, which is what makes him notable. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers 04:37, January 16, 2014 (UTC)

- That article is highly questionable, and I would argue that it should probably be deleted as well. Generally, "this similar thing exists" is virtually always a flawed argument because that other thing can be trash compacted as well. The only time such an argument is reasonable is when the other article was recently debated in the TC with a consensus to keep (or no consensus leaning toward keep). —MJ— Training Room 02:52, January 20, 2014 (UTC)
- I only used that argument in the case of articles that achieved some sort of status, which means that it's been verified by people to a certain degree. TheMasterMind (talk) 12:21, January 20, 2014 (UTC)
- Having status only means that the article has been checked for compliance with the requirements for that status, as listed at the top of the nomination pages. Those requirements do not include "...be notable." Status articles can and do get deleted for lack of notability, and indeed there is Yellow power droid|one such article set to be discussed at the next EC meeting for possible TCing. —MJ— War Room 20:42, January 20, 2014 (UTC)

- I would be hesitant to say a "unique" death scene like those described qualifies. (Stormtrooper #456 was killed by Leia's blaster bolt 45 minutes 14 seconds into the story, while #457 was killed at 45:16, you see.) —Silly Dan (talk) 01:36, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
- Well you could read the summary and you'll see how each of them was individually tackled. What you are describing are not unique scenes at all. TheMasterMind (talk) 12:28, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
- I read the articles. I'm just not sure that the unique death scenes are enough. Sure, Ahsoka kills one, Rex and Anakin kill another, and a third is killed by redirected friendly fire -- but all three are killed during the same battle by the same team of Republic forces. —Silly Dan (talk) 21:51, January 18, 2014 (UTC)
- I don't know what being killed in the same battle and by the same team has to do with this, I just think that since they were all given unique death scenes, they are more notable than say 50 nameless droids, all killed in a single explosion in the same shot. TheMasterMind (talk) 18:09, January 19, 2014 (UTC)

The only thing missing is a quote. This droid is clearly much more unique than the tens of droids that don't do anything special and act just like background props. - IMO, one of the primary problems with these articles isn't so much the notability (although that is a problem). Rather, I think the bigger problem is that we don't know enough about these characters. There's nothing distinguishable about them, so "Unidentified clone trooper pilot 2 (Rodia)" could also be "Unidentified clone trooper pilot 4 (Mygeeto)." Since we can't distinguish them, we can't be sure, so we might be having two articles on the same guy.—Cal Jedi
