SonoMax sonic pistol (talk - history - links - logs)

All The New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology has to say in regards to SonoMax is that it produced sonic pistols and sonic rifles. I do not believe that the book was trying to say that these were specific models, since Pacnorval Defense Systems, Limited was also mentioned as a producer of sonic pistols and rifles in the same sentence. Additionally, the SonoMax 75 sound pistol and the SonoMax 100 sound rifle already existed as examples of a sonic pistol and sonic rifle design produced by SonoMax.

  • I was going to vote redirect, but then I noticed that one link contains 'sound' and the other says 'sonic.' I'm not sure if they are the same. JangFett (Talk) 21:48, December 12, 2013 (UTC)
    • "Sonic" is defined as "of or pertaining to sound", so I would call the terms the same. And this is more a case of redirecting the generic term to the only specific match than it is redirecting a duplicate article. If there were multiple sonic/sound pistols by SonoMax, I would be recommending a disambig page instead. —MJ— War Room 22:45, December 12, 2013 (UTC)
