Siren (noisemaker) (talk - history - links - logs)
Another VT-16 Piece of Crap™ It is totally speculation that the sound effect is a siren and, if you've seen the part of the episode, the sound in the whole scene where the bridge is turned off is muffled for dramatic effect with this "siren" at the start. Dramatic effects do not get articles. NAYAYEN:TALK 19:57, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

- I'd say redirect to "Klaxon," but I doubt anyone would try and find it based on the "noisemaker" disambiguator. jSarek 22:54, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

- While I agree this particular instance is likely a fanon interpretation of a part of a soundtrack, are we sure there are no mentions in the EU of sirens that would be fit to include in this article? jSarek 21:00, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
- There are mentions of sirens (indeed, there is an apparent standard SW style one that is most recognisable at the start of Attack of the Clones) but I doubt that it would be notable enough because they are no different in usage or apparent function than real world sirens. NAYAYEN:TALK 21:09, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
- We have Klaxon for that. Dangerdan97 16:00, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Klaxon is unique in that is it a trademarked real-world product. The appearance list on that article is for places the word is specifically used. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 23:06, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
