I've given it a bit of thought, and as I see it, the articles listed in this nomination are of very ambiguous nature. Let me explain. In "Shadow of Malevolence", the only clone pilot who has received both a nickname and a callsign is Matchstick aka "Shadow Two." After that, the situation gets confusing. We have two more named pilots, Broadside and Tag, who are generally assumed to be "Shadow Three" and "Five," respectively, although there's no actual evidence to support this. During the call-in sequence, in addition to Matchstick, we see a "Shadow Three" (who may or may not be Broadside), "Shadow Four" (who is only seen from the back), followed by some of Ahsoka's banter, and Shadows Eleven and Twelve. Next, during the attack on the Malevolence, we are informed that Shadows Six, Seven, and Ten have been caught in the ion ray, so that leaves them out of the rest of the battle. Finally, we see one of the Y-wings being destroyed by the Malevolence's cannons. The unfortunate pilot's armor actually looks similar to that of Shadow Three from the call-in sequence; however, we cannot say for sure as we haven't seen other pilots (Four, Five, Eight and Nine), and it's entirely possible that they also have the same armor. Why am I saying all this, you may ask? Well, so far we have absolutely no information on Shadows Eight and Nine, and it appears that these articles have been created on the assumption that there should be Shadows Eight and Nine in the squadron. While plausible, first, I don't think such an assumption meets WP:ATT, and second, due to the ambiguity I've discussed, these could've merely been Broadside's or Tag's callsigns. Personally, I think we should stick to what information we've received from the episode, and as such:

  • Turn the Shadow 3 redirect into an article about the unidentified clone featured in the call-in shot
  • Remove all references to Broadside and Tag being Shadows Three and Five
  • Create an article about the Malevolence's victim, something along the lines of "Unidentified Shadow Squadron pilot"
  • Delete Shadows Eight and Nine and the Shadow Five disambig.

Discussion
