- Administrators are willing to keep this article? Ok, sorry, I should have known this was a temporary joke after all. :) --Gurbiza 19:53, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- If they want to make it FA for Dec 25, go ahead, but immediately after I request that the article be deemed non-canon or at the least an easter egg, because that is what it is, or we are really stretching suspension of disbelief. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:25, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well, the Easter Egg never gives any indication of being an Earth-related thing, does it? It's just a character on a Rebel ship dressed like our Santa Claus and bearing his name. :) VT-16 12:26, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- Funny. I think you just mentioned the indication. :) But what's the point of arguing anymore? I suppose everyone here already understood this is a joke that will be removed after Christmas. --Gurbiza 14:10, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- No, I didn't. He only wears a suit similar to one from Earth fairytales. If nothing related to Earth is ever said explicitly, it's an in-universe character. Anything else would be like suggesting the Tiss'sharl are the same as Earth's velociraptors and therefore not an in-universe species. VT-16 21:51, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Er, why should it be removed? Christmas is annual, so it's not as if this article won't be relevant ever again - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 16:50, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- ...Please, all of you, do we want people to trust Wookieepedia or not? George Lucas once said Yoda is a frog. Hey, that's G canon, we should state that as a canonical fact in the Yoda article, don't you think? --Gurbiza 21:05, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- That was obviously a joke. You can interpret Santas appearance as a joke but being that he's appeared in two canon sources, he is canon and nobody has said otherwise, he stays. Like it or not. Learn live with it. --Redemption
Talk 21:30, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- I voted keep because it's canon by Wookieepedia standards. But if you actually looked in the Holocron and asked Pablo Hidalgo, I'm pretty sure he'd just laugh. --Thetoastman 03:20, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Obviously a joke? Actually, until Lucas tells us otherwise, it is just as canon as this is. If indeed by Wookieepedia definition this qualifies as canon then perhaps the logical course of action would be to revise the definition? The template suggested above is also a good idea and that would be enough to satisfy me. As long as we don't give people the idea we really consider this absolute canon. --Gurbiza 10:45, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

01:47, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- Of course we can't but Easter eggs and Christmas theme mixes made for fun we can? Oh yes, they "appeared in a licensed source". Well, if that is the general idea of canon, then so be it. This mindless inflation is getting totally out of hands. Just as I was getting used to Ewoks. --Gurbiza 09:39, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
