Revan's parents
The basis for these articles is a quote by Kreia in KOTOR 2: "Revan had a mother and father, parents, ancestors, like all Jedi do." The thing is, we don't know anything about these people. We don't know whether they were married, where they were from, or how they lived. We know Revan had two parents, but we could say the same for any other non-clone human, and a good number of aliens. Now, you might say that these two individuals are explicitly mentioned by Kreia. But she's not claiming she knew Revan's parents, since she disavows knowledge of his early childhood. Rather, she is merely saying that he had a father and mother, like everyone else. So, Kreia isn't actually mentioning two specific individuals, just making a general statement that Revan came from someone and somewhere like anyone else. -LtNOWIS 13:01, December 17, 2009 (UTC)

- Like a deletionist, I feel that it falls under the category of "Trivia articles", which are useless to the readers because they repeat the obvious fact. Saying "Revan had a mother" is the same as saying "This individual was present in crowd on Coruscant, as you can see on this picture. MauserComlink 13:10, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
- The quote can be incorporated into the article about Revan instead, if desired. NistraTalk 14:26, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
- When I heard this TC was going to be created, I originally planned on voting keep considering they are explicitly mentioned, and that just because something (an individual in this case) is only mentioned in passing and we have virtually no information on the subject does not qualify it for deletion. But that being said, after some consideration, I agree that this statement is meant as a generic reference to where Revan came from as an individual, not necessarily to two specific individuals. - Also, not every human has two parents—Anakin Skywalker had no father, at least not in the traditional sense. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 22:45, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
