Nintendo DS (talk - history - links - logs)
Wookieepedia is not "dictionary of every single thing on earth that ever comes into or near the Star Wars universe"; just go to Wikipedia if you want to know what a Nintendo DS is. The other external link is useless, and the information regarding the games can be found on those pages. If someone really wanted to, a subcategory could be created regarding the platform.

- I listen to Star Wars audiobooks with my CD player. I watch Star Wars films on my DVD player. I use Behind the Magic on my laptop. I play Star Wars games on my Xbox 360. What the heck is the difference between the latter and the rest? I don't see anything in Wildyoda's CT argument that couldn't be covered by a category (KotOR III stuff is OR). This is a glorified list (remember, we don't like lists); the existence of other glorified lists shouldn't stop it being deleted, just like the existence of regular lists wouldn't — hasn't — stop us deleting a list, which could also legitimately be populated with information. Ergo, no solid reason for keeping it. Delete, establish a precedent to delete the lot, and create a new category (but I'd rather vote here than the unnecessary vote-splitting middle option). -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 17:58, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- That CT was like six people, and the arguments were bad anyway. Acky is right; this has nothing to do with Star Wars. We might as well have Television or Book. "The following Star Wars products are available in book form: . . ." Yeah, I don't think so. Havac 01:35, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- I fully agree with Acky and Havac. Convert either to a good List of videogames by console and redirect all video consoles articles there or create a Category:Computer and video games by platform. Pranay Sobusk ~ Talk 14:06, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Delete and Create New Category
#Definitely an optimal solution. Create Category: Nintendo DS video games (or something like that) in the Category:Computer and video games by platform, categorize all games listed in the article, then - voila! It can simply be deleted. MauserComlink 08:10, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Keep
- No reason to delete this. We have articles for every other video game console to host a Star Wars game, all of which could legitimately be populated with information. Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:10, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
- I would like to include them in this nom, as I have noted in the "Comments" section. In addition, they should be deleted for the same reason I think this should be. —Lucius malfoy7 Talk • Reference 20:25, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

- The only alternative is to have a artilc tittled, "List of Nintendo DS Star Wars Video Games." Haven't we been trying to get rid of most lists? Now you could make a Nintendo DS category....That would be ok I guess...IthinkIwannaLeiaWaddaUthink? 00:36, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

- Actually, Wookieepedia is the "dictionary of every single thing on earth that ever comes into
or nearthe Star Wars universe" and game consoles are included in that. Just as a note, this would be one-sided as delete if you'd put up the Wii. NaruHina Talk

- If you mean the in-universe Star Wars universe, how does an Xbox 360 come into it? If you mean the OOU Star Wars universe (as in, the franchise) then would you have a problem with an article on a DVD player or somesuch? -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 16:22, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- Not DVD player, but DVD. And as DVD redirects to Star Wars DVD releases, maybe we should have a single article for Star Wars video game platforms. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 16:35, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- DVD would correspond to Video game, as DVD player would to Xbox 360. But yeah, a merge to a single article would be satisfactory. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 16:52, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

- I agree with keeping this article, along with the other video game console articles. Video game consoles aren't as universal a platform as CD or DVD. OLIOSTER

- I just noticed the other that the video game consoles have articles, and I would therefore like to include them in this TC nomination. —Lucius malfoy7 Talk • Reference 21:38, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
