Mike D. Harrison (talk - history - links - logs)
As posted by Pabr Oebris: "This page contains baseless accusations. A Sandtrooper can be seen posing exactly as Harrison did in Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope. 30 years before Harrison posed for this photo. No pages link to this page."

- Per original CSD reason above. Also, under that reasoning, I don't even think he would be notable under the existing notability policy, let alone the new one that's about to pass in the CT. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 03:13, September 28, 2009 (UTC)

- If more proof can be provided, then my vote could change. But honestly, I don't see how that's going to be possible. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 03:23, September 28, 2009 (UTC)
- Totally agree with Master Jonathon. Also, see 14:40 of Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope (Original Trilogy) & 15:04 of Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope (Special Edition). The sandtrooper standing directly behind R2 & C-3PO's downed escape pod. He's wearing both the orange shoulder pauldron and the brown satchel on his left shoulder AND holding the same design rifle in the same manner as the hasbro design. The evidence is there. Furthermore, the quote on sandtroopers.com by Harrison is purely speculation on his behalf. "The reality is that the graphic artist who used my picture did so because he thought all the images that LFL supplied them were unusable. While I was never asked for permission (and that subject opens up all kinds of legal issues), I'm really not going to pursue it. The idea that I'm being immortalized as an action figure... the same kind of Star Wars action figures that fill my earliest childhood memories, is really life affirming. It's as-if my life-long devotion, hard work and commitment to this hobby and to Star Wars has really paid off. Now I get to look forward to signing action figures in 2007!"[1] From this page there's no evidence that he's been in contact with the said graphic artist to confirm it. - Contains no proof beyond "looks like a picture of me mimicking a picture of a sandtrooper from the OT," and debatably notable even if true. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 00:17, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
- roflol. well summed up Culator if only we'd started the thread with this line...:) Pabr Oebris 01:33, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
- There are some similarities. But there are way too many differences to be kept. The Doctor K.(No I'm not really a doctor.) 02:16, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
