List of lists (talk - history - links - logs)

My purge of useless lists continues. What purpose does this page serve that Category:Lists doesn't serve better? jSarek 11:23, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

    • When a list contains more info than just names of articles (like List of planets) or lots of redlinks which point out missing articles (like List of Rodians), then they can be useful. Most of our lists do neither, however. jSarek 21:35, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Not that I want to complicate the matter, but Memory Alpha has a list of lists (they don't call it that) which I have actually found useful, probably because it is less arbitrary and better organized than ours. You can see it here. Gonk (Gonk!) 16:41, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
