List of Yuuzhan Vong (talk - history - links - logs)

Per several recent TCs, lists (especially lists of members of a species) should be killed. These recent TCs include Forum:TC:List of Rodians, Forum:TC:List of bounty hunters, and Forum:TC:List of diseases. We have several categories, including a Category: Yuuzhan Vong. Granted, most Vong aren't in that category, but are in more specific Vong related ones (Category: Yuuzhan Vong warriors, for example). Perhaps we could add all listed Yuuzhan Vong to Category: Yuuzhan Vong. I'll do it, I suppose. Chack Jadson (Talk) 23:15, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

  9. Not particularly per jSarek. We should have a means for readers to see a list of all Yuuzhan Vong without having to wade through subcategories. I'm not sure this is the best way to do it, though. I think there's a fundamental problem with the way Wikia categorization works - it should and presumably could be much more useful, particularly in terms of cross-referencing categories. I think the problem is that we currently have the members of the Yuuzhan Vong species and faction conflated into one category. This becomes particularly glaring when looking in the category and seeing Tahiri Veila, who, while temporarily a member of the faction, is clearly not a member of the species. If we were to split the category, the Yuuzhan Vong species individuals would likely all be in just one category, while the Yuuzhan Vong faction individuals (which, of course, would have a lot of overlap with the species category) would be subdivided similarly to the current joint category. jSarek 08:24, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
