Julia Tischler (talk - history - links - logs)
This person has no concrete ties to official Star Wars products. She's someone picked to represent Juno Eclipse in the Virtual CCG. Since the Virtual CCG is completely unofficial, this makes her equivalent to an actress in a fan film. She might qualify as a notable fan, but we don't have an article for the actress in Pink Five. Since Tischler is even further removed from official Star Wars canon than Stacey, this should probably be deleted. Cull Tremayne 10:03, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
I have specifically asked some of the moderators here if information like this would be allowed. I was told that it's classified as "real world information" (bts) and if it's sourcable it is allowed to stay. (and just FYI, "Pink Five" was even featured in the Star Wars 30 years collection compendium) --Starfighter15175 10:35, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- What specific moderators if you don't mind me asking? Articles on real people are allowed, but only if they have a clear connection to the Star Wars canon. This person does not. What makes this particular person notable or tied to the canon? She's involved in an unofficial fan project, which makes her no more notable than an actress in a fan film. - GreenTentacle for example. I see your point of course, I was under the impression that the CCG is recognized as official. Mara Jade actress McRandle is from the ccg and also credited. What's the difference in this case? So when this is deleted, am I not allowed to add the info of the guy/male model who portrayed Galen for the cards either? Sorry for the questions or if I misunderstood something, I'm rather new, I don't want to get in trouble... --Starfighter15175 11:04, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- McRandle posed for an official card within the original CCG releases by Decipher, Inc. In addition, she has become known as the face of Mara Jade in several other sources. The Virtual CCG sets are not official, as they are not endorsed by LFL, and are created by fans. Decipher lost the license and stopped producing the cards; virtual cards are not recognised as an official product. - Cavalier One

- Oh, I understand. I wasn't aware of this change in licensing. I'm sorry, feel free to remove whatever you feel right. --Starfighter15175 11:23, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, that'd be why I said if it's from an official source. If I'd known which card game you meant (and I don't know much about any of them) you'd have gotten a straight no. Sorry. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:28, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

- SW CCG and SW TCG Player Committees are doing great stuff for the game purposes, but it is definitely considered fanon. Mauser 11:47, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- Wookieepedia:Notability of fan projects says "Fan sites and other fan projects should get one and only one article." This article is at best a candidate for merging to a separate article on the fan-run extension of the CCG. —Silly Dan (talk) 12:08, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
