Jinn Skywalker (talk - history - links - logs)
Jinn Skywalker is a nonexistent character who appears in a Force vision inside Vader's sick mind. He shouldn't have his own page. If we got rid of the Darth Sunshine page, we should get rid of this. --Master Starkeiller 18:19, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

Master Starkeiller 20:22, November 19, 2011 (UTC)- Moved vote to "Merge information and redirect to Anakin Skywalker" Master Starkeiller 12:17, December 3, 2011 (UTC)
Please keep in mind that Jinn Skywalker is nothing more than a figment of Vader's imagination, and that he only really appears in a dream in one issue of one comic arc. Also keep in mind that Anakin had children, neither of whom turned out to be Jinn Skywalker. Grand Moff Tranner(Comlink) 19:32, November 23, 2011 (UTC)
I have to agree with Tranner on this one. We voted unanimously to delete another dream article of not dissimilar circumstance. Being Skywalker-related doesn't make this or that article any more or less notable, and it's best that we adhere to the standards and precedents we set. If we want to keep this as a redirect to Anakin's P/T or something, I would be ok with keeping the article on those grounds, but that would require another voting option. My vote goes here in the meantime. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:09, November 23, 2011 (UTC)- Moving vote to new option below. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:13, December 2, 2011 (UTC)

Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:56, November 23, 2011 (UTC)How does something that appeared in a dream but that did not actually exist IU get an article? Go ahead and add what you want to Skywalker's article about it, but do we really need articles that detail characters' fantasies? Sheesh. I think not. Keep
- If it's deleted, it should be added to Skywalker's personality section. This wasn't a blurb in one story of Star Wars Tales, it was a vision that Vader had repeatedly of a future he wished had occurred, expanded on over several issues.--Demos Traxen 23:06, November 19, 2011 (UTC)
- Per Demos with the P&T addition; although, even if it is a vision of Vader's, the canonical appearance of this child seems to be valid since he appeared in these comics several times it seems, as Demos pointed out. I don't necessarily see the point of deleting the article, even if the child is a minor character. JangFett (Talk) 23:15, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

- Yes, I'm in favor of keeping Jinn Skywalker but deleting Gilp Page. Up is doubt, back is wife, mawgs and cats living together, math hysteria! DD97Which bear is best? 21:32, November 23, 2011 (UTC)
- Also in favor of keeping it. Force vision events are one thing, characters with something of a personality are another. Keep it, and edit it to featured article quality, just for fun. User: Barren167. Quote: Darth Caedus: Childhood fan-character ruined. 21:51, November 23, 2011 (UTC)
- Bella'Mia 23:05, November 23, 2011 (UTC)
It should stay. It's not a force vision, but what could have been. Not to deviate, but perhaps this did happen in a parallel universe. Anakin/Vader is so powerful in the force, perhaps he's one of the few force-users able to see into another reality. Any thoughts?24.193.147.106 05:52, December 22, 2011 (UTC)(Vote struck, reason: Per policy: Registered user votes only -- Toprawa and Ralltiir 05:53, December 22, 2011 (UTC))

Merge information and redirect to Anakin Skywalker
- This also seems to be a good option. I really don't care whether there is an article on this or not as long as the information is there and a redirect is created to avoid reader confusion. 1358 (Talk) 00:10, November 26, 2011 (UTC)
- Per GMT and Tope, redirect to section in Anakin's article. (: – Tm_T@Wookieepedia:~$ 15:48, November 30, 2011 (UTC)
- This is probably the best option. The article's existence proves that people will be looking for information on this character, so maintaining the title as a redirect to where the information is held would be most appropriate. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:13, December 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Merge the info and redirect. It's pertinent information and therefore shouldn't be nixed entirely. Trak Nar Ramble on 20:18, December 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Master Starkeiller 12:12, December 3, 2011 (UTC)
- In the interest of not splitting the vote and ending up with a "keep" result. I stand 100% by what I said above, but a redirect won't hurt anything. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 16:16, December 3, 2011 (UTC)
- If this is kept, is that permission to write an article on Padmé's fantasy inauguration as Chancellor? Because I'll do it. I don't want to have to, but I will. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:03, December 15, 2011 (UTC)

Discussion
- There certainly is space in the Anakin Skywalker article for this, if there's space for a 3,900-year-old Force vision, among other things. But keeping it, I think, would set a bad precedent. There's VaderLukeface from Dagobah, he was part of a vision, and I hope there's no article for him.... I don't believe there would have been a separate article for an imaginary character existing in one person's mind (unlike, say, this) if "Jinn Skywalker" wasn't catchy --Master Starkeiller 11:13, November 20, 2011 (UTC)
