Gynt family (talk - history - links - logs)
We typically don't maintain articles on families where only one member is named. This sets a dangerous precedent, potentially allowing hundreds of pointless "Surname family" articles. Furthermore, the family tree is speculation. --Imperialles 15:01, April 28, 2010 (UTC)¨

Keep
While only one family member is named, the family itself is outright mentioned in the transcript: Eison Gynt was a fourth generation Jedi —and was important to establish a connection between Gynt and Ovair: Having a similar heritage, the venerated Jedi Scholar, Master Barel Ovair, took Gynt as his apprentice. While I understand there's the concern of somebody creating a family article for every character, this instance comes from specific mention of a "family line" in source material.—fodigg

- The family isn't mentioned at all, merely hinted at. To presume to know that "fourth generation" refers to a specific family unit is speculation. --Imperialles 15:24, April 28, 2010 (UTC)
