Bounty droid (talk - history - links - logs - delete - protect)
The term has only been used colloquially, and a source has yet to adopt it as a formal term. UberSoldat93 (talk) 15:54, February 19, 2020 (UTC)

Haxion Brood bounty droid (actually Haxion Brood Bounty Droid) should not be merged to bounty droid. Officially, (per Toggers' screenshot attached below) the Haxion Brood's droids were Haxion Brood Bounty Droids; The class "Bounty Droid" does not exist in Canon material, and "bounty droid" only exists as a term used by the Mandalorian that was directed at a droid who took on bounties. The meaning of the term is not explained anywhere. Thus, this article should be deleted. Nothing to do with the Haxion Brood [B]ounty [D]roid. - - -(<This, and keep as a disambiguation page (below) - - -OOM 224 ༼༽{talk}༼༽ 21:27, February 24, 2020 (UTC)

Keep
- I feel like the way The Mando said it was enough for the article. Also, if we decide it was informal, we can just note on the article that it is an “informal term.” I don’t think we have enough evidence for that though.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 15:59, February 19, 2020 (UTC)
- Keep based on what's in JFO, but merge Haxion Brood bounty droid and remove the information from the Mandalorian, because I agree it was only used colloquially there. Toqgers (talk) 03:28, February 20, 2020 (UTC)
- I know I'm going against the grain here, but context is king. Bounty droid is self-classifying. Corellian Premier

- Per Tope, there is every likelihood that another canon source will reference "bounty droid." So why make this a redirect? Just leave it. - JMAS

- Because until that happens, there's no evidence this is meant to be a formal droid classification. You're (mis)interpreting something that isn't there. The redirect serves as a placeholder in the meantime. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:45, February 25, 2020 (UTC)

Redirect to Bounty hunter
- Whether or not you want to consider this a formal classification, "bounty droid" is a legitimate search term because it was used in the episode. The fact that someone created an article for it is evidence enough of that. If even one person comes to Wookieepedia and searches "bounty droid," only to end up at a dead end on the Search page, we're doing our readers a disservice. And FWIW, I'm willing to bet this term appears in another source eventually, which will force us to consider this an actual classification, no different than assassin droid, in which case it would be beneficial to maintain the original editing history of this page rather than creating a new one. - Tope has convinced me that redirecting Bounty droid to Bounty hunter and adding a {{Rhere}} at Bounty hunter is the most appropriate strategy here. Imperators II(Talk) 22:39, February 24, 2020 (UTC)

- Redirecting to BH would work even better than a disambig. It only needs a few additions regarding the Haxion Brood Bounty Droid. - - -

Keep as a disambiguation page
Let's do it the proper way then and list Haxion Brood bounty droid, IG-11, and bounty hunter on a disambiguation page at bounty droid. Imperators II(Talk) 21:42, February 24, 2020 (UTC)Disambig linking to a) the Haxion Brood bounty droid and b) the term which referred to droid bounty hunters. - - -OOM 224 ༼༽{talk}༼༽ 21:58, February 24, 2020 (UTC)
Comments
To me, the information in the tactical guide for Haxion Brood Bounty Droid (Here, via PS4share from my own console) is sufficient to conclude bounty droid is a separate class. I think the Haxion Brood bounty droid page should be merged with Bounty droid, on the grounds that the droids in Fallen Order are Bounty Droids working for the Haxion Brood, rather than a Haxion Brood specific class. Just like how we don't have separate pages for Haxion Brood Bounty Hunter or Haxion Brood Commando. Additionally, capitalization used in the tactical guide is Bounty Droid, so if the page is kept it ought to be moved there, barring alternate capitalization elsewhere.
