Bloated navboxes

I'm throwing all these navboxes in together because, quite simply, they've just become too big for their own good. Navboxes are supposed to enable the quick lookup of other articles relevant to the one you're reading, but some of these are providing over 100 links in a massive, intimidating list. That just creates a very messy grouping at the bottom of the page which, in my opinion, severely detracts from the aesthetics of the articles these are placed on. There comes a point where navboxes are no longer a quick method of finding similar articles, and I think at that point they really don't have a purpose to serve anymore.

There are, in my opinion, 7 of the most egregious offenders. There were a couple more that I wondered about, but I thought these would be a good start, with them all having between 70 and 160 links in them. They dwarf most articles they're placed on, with some measuring twice as long as some more stubby articles, and are impractical for quick reference. Even with categories containing both canon and Legends links, I would say those are still quicker for link finding than using these templates. Categories (or even individual pages) are far better places to house the information these navboxes are trying to present. Tommy-Macaroni 09:33, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
