Another Hope (talk - history - links - logs)
I was surfing random articles and found this. Obvious fanfiction and there doesn't seem to be any notable reason to keep it.
Keep
- Probably the most notorious SW fanfic in history, with multiple references in mainstream media including NPR, SciFi Wire, The Daytona Beach News Journal, not to mention extensive coverage throughout fandom (it was a BIG hullabaloo in the fanfiction community at the time) and Lucasfilm recognition in the form of a Cease and Desist order. If we really want to get rid of all fan-related topics on the Wook (which, admittedly, it seems is now community consensus), we really ought to have a CT establishing that and deleting Wookieepedia:Notability of fan projects first. jSarek (talk) 04:12, July 12, 2012 (UTC)

- Per JSarek. (: – Tm_T@Wookieepedia:~$ 05:25, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
- Should be kept until and unless the policy changes to disallow all fan activity articles. —Silly Dan (talk) 12:34, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
- Per JSarek. Not that I'm particularly attached to this article, but I do not wish to pave the way to the deletion of all notable fan activity articles. --LelalMekha (talk) 18:24, July 12, 2012 (UTC)

- We are not simply a Star Wars canon wiki. We are more of a Star Wars history wiki that focuses on canon. Were we merely a canon wiki, why would we bother having articles on the sources or the music? Unless the characters were walking through deserts with grains of sand magically imbued with the works of John Williams. NaruHina Talk

- While I don't necessarily like it being here, I believe that this is a notable enough fanfiction to have it here. Not so much for other fanfics. There's a wiki for that. --The Lampshade... (talk) 21:29, July 12, 2012 (UTC)Lamp774

Discussion
Just a suggestion, if this article is kept, then it needs some serious updating to explain why it's notable. Right now, there's nothing to indicate it was not much more than a fanfic story. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 03:06, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
