Ok, What is the deal with all of these cluttery ads with the new Monaco Skin that just came into affect today? Honestly, I'm sure there's nothing we can do about it, but is it really necessary to have an ad in between the article's title and the first paragraph of said article? • The alternative, from what Wikia says, would be putting a big box in the upper right hand corner for all articles. For articles with infoboxes, this would look worse (at least in my opinion) as it messes with the infobox placement. If you click on random articles a few times, you'll note that very short articles have no ads, articles with infoboxes have banner ads, and other articles have the ads in the upper right.   • I fear this new look will be terrible. It just presents us with a bunch of weird ads that probably lead to questionable websites. Did we invest all our time in our Wiki to get presented with this 'gift'? This is just awful --Sompeetalay 14:29, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

  • They no longer count clicks - they count if people SEE them.
  • Copy the CSS from my global Wikia CSS page (you can copy it to your equivalent global CSS page on Wikia-central, or just to User:YOURUSERNAME/common.css here if this is the only wikia you visit) to not see them. - SanityOrMadness 15:49, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
