Hello all. When the section of our Layout Guide concerning the use of alternate character names in the infobox name field was crafted it seems like we missed one other group of individuals who have had a relatively prominent name duality in Star Wars: Mandalores, the leaders of the Mandalorians. Star Wars Legends has so far given us six such leaders for whom we know both their name prior to their taking up that title, and their title afterward:

  • Mandalore the Avenger (Shae Vizla)
  • Mandalore the Destroyer (Ranah Teh Naast)
  • Mandalore the Uniter (Aga Awaud)
  • Mandalore the Vindicated (Artus Lok)
  • Canderous Ordo (Mandalore the Protector)
  • Spar (Mandalore the Resurrector) (why the articles for those last two are located at their pre-Mandalore names is a separate discussion :P)

In my opinion, the situation with Mandalores is somewhat comparable to that of the Sith, for whom we allow the listing of both pre-Sith names and Sith "Darth" titles in the infobox name field, so I think we should codify the same exception for Mandalores as well.
