I propose that the User page and profile policy 1) be rewritten to the linked proposed version and 2) have the associated {{Tl|Fanon user page}} deleted (only one user uses it currently).

Affected policy pages are the Wookieepedia:User page and profile policy and Wookieepedia:User image policy. Major changes include:

  • Removing the 250-word limit on fanon content
  • Removing the requirement that fanon content be marked with a [[Template:Fanon user page|pre-defined template]]
  • Removing the restriction on altering the page's tab title
  • Removing the limit on user image file size
  • Removing the rule that users must meet the requirements of Wookieepedia:Voting eligibility policy to earn and maintain user image privileges, which is largely redundant to the inactivity clause
  • Merging the User image policy into the User page and profile policy under its own subsection.
