In 2014, User:Darth Plagueis "Mądry" - Hego Damask was blocked by Cade for violating our sock puppetry policy, due to them editing on the account User:Quentum simultaneously with their original account for several months.
I have been contacted by the user, who you may know as Symoil if you frequent IRC, who believes that the block was unjust. He has told me he only operated under two usernames because he didn't know how to properly change his username (from Darth Plagueis "Mądry" - Hego Damask to Quentum). He said that he kept operating on both accounts because people on other wikis kept contacting him under different names, and he forgot to switch accounts when accessing the wook. He also said that at the time he didn't know of our policy, in part due to the language barrier.
Our policy encourages the warning of users operating socks before they are banned, which Cade failed to do. Furthermore, as the user did not use sock puppets for any nefarious reasons, I believe a permaban is unfair, as it seems clear to me it was a genuine error. Both myself and Imperators have spoken to Symoil on IRC, and he is aware of our policy now, and has been informed if he breaks it again he will be re-permabanned. Therefore, I urge you to consider unblocking Quentum (and keeping Darth Plagueis "Mądry" - Hego Damask blocked).
