The result of the debate was Option 2. —spookywillowwtalk 18:17, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
I'm putting this up because I've personally not been a fan of the current infobox image. First, I don't think that decapitated SM-33 is the best visual representation of the character we've seen thus far. Kinda similar to how we use pre-scarred Anakin Skywalker for his infobox, using the latest "state" of the character isn't always the way to go. My second and final reason is going to be for the aesthetic. The current image is not that good of an image to look at as an infobox I feel. I did consider using gallery, but the ratio difference is way too big and will just disrupt the article placement overall. Putting it here for additional info, but infobox option for the decapitated form is way too sparse. Eat your veggies! Bonzane10

- SM-33 is headless in the latest known point of the timeline. Nothing says its permanent but nothing says he gets fixed either. NBDani

- I would counter with Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn were all Force ghosts in their last known point of the timeline. Yet we don't use their Force ghost appearance as their main image. - JMAS

- The difference here is SM-33 is alive in this state. The others aren't. (I also think Force ghosts deserve to be in the infobox). NBDani

17:48, 18 June 2025 (UTC) - SM's current state isn't different enough to warrant the current version. I agree with the reasoning here. - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 17:52, 18 June 2025 (UTC)

- Only because the design is still the same and all, so I see no reason to not reflect his completed look. But, if we get Skeleton Crew season two and he's only a head being pushed around on a rc car, well, then, we can discuss again Editoronthewiki (talk) 18:16, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
- There's no suggestion that his headless state is permanent. Ayrehead02 (talk) 18:19, 18 June 2025 (UTC)

Any reason to not just crop down the image of his head being held by his arm to match the dimension of the promotional image and make it an infobox gallery? - JMAS

- Did consider it, but the shots I've found are mostly too near to SM-33 to get a good crop of him with the designated ratio. If others do want a gallery, we can open up another discussion on it and its potential candidates later down the line, I suppose. Bonzane10
