Per SH:Revisiting CAN limit (v3?) and having brought the forum up post-EC meeting, proposing to raise the CAN limit to 8. Reasoning being that the page seems pretty stable, added to that we just got a new EC. Am of the mind that we likely won't need to do so again, but who knows.

Rule 9 of the CAN currently reads: Each user shall be limited to six active Comprehensive article nominations at any given time. Any additional nominations will be subject to immediate removal.

I propose that it be amended to read: Each user shall be limited to eight active Comprehensive article nominations at any given time. Any additional nominations will be subject to immediate removal.

Will this put a strain on the review boards or are we safe right now? Because I'm very much a worst-case scenario type of guy. If all active nominators submit eight at one time, all at once, you've got to theoretically be prepared for that. Jade Moonstroller (talk) 19:34, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
