The following is an amendment to the recent Forum:CT:Clone trooper naming update. The vote is to remove the {{Nickname}} template from clone trooper articles as stories regard these names, even if at times they are called "nicknames", to be chosen names.   • The "how to refer to clone troopers in articles" discussion isn't something that needs to go to CT. Its really just precedent. We don't CT how to do Chiss names for example. If you really want a CT discussion, I guess ask for one here. Generally most people seem to agree just write the name itself into articles. Like don't put [[Clone Captain]] [[Rex|CT-7567]] Rex or [[Clone Captain]] [[Rex|CT-7567]] "Rex", just put [[Clone Captain]] [[Rex]] Editoronthewiki (talk) 03:18, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
