The result of the debate was inconclusive.–SentryTalk 02:42, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
New user ThatLittleMidget made the following suggestion:
- "The Annual Wookie Awards are a written awards show taking place every winter here at Wookiepedia. They award awards to best star wars articles on different categories and best user awards. This years awards is scheduled for Thanksgiving week."
- ―ThatLittleMidget
What does the group think about doing something like this? —Silly Dan (talk) 01:10, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- I love the idea. Another chance to nominate the best article in the wiki, in my opinion, a good award, Jabba the Hutt. --Jabbathehuttgartogg

Hmmm... let's see, made by a sockpuppeteer who posts this kind of crap: [1]. He tried to pass this same thing on SW Fanon. Bub 01:20, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- I just noticed that Splarka just banned ThatLittleMidget as a sockpuppet of a serial vandal. I did not realize this when I transferred his proposal over. So, if you think the source of the idea is relevant, you may want to bear that in mind....—Silly Dan (talk) 01:21, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
That's what I'm trying to say. He is Darth Vacatour, a troublemaking user of SWFanon. And saying "troublemaking" is putting it lightly. Bub 01:22, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Well, well, where did he get this from. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff

Very long story. Basically he was a troll-feeding user at SWFanon. He made these SWFanon Awards back when he was a legitimate user. After a few weeks, he began to pose as vandals and other users, and was eventually blocked. Now he's spamming this "Royal Vandal Kingdom" idea over several wikis. Apparently he made a comeback as ThatLittleMidget, and spammed the wiki awards here. Bub 01:26, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I've seen DV, or people claiming to be him, before. So my cautious support is quickly moving to "why bother, we have Featured articles, Good articles, Wookieepedian of the Month, and other user awards already." —Silly Dan (talk) 01:26, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Wow, very long indeed. Well I guess it's safe to say that this user was just posting nonsense. Besides we already have Featured articles, Good articles, Wookieepedian of the Month, and other user awards.

- Yep, Dan just said exactly what I was going to say. -- Ozzel 01:36, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- I think there's nothing wrong with the idea per se, regardless of who proposes it (to avoid succumbing into guilt by association). But I disagree with the proposed binding to a US-centric holiday. - Sikon (Vacation) 06:43, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

- This ia a big surprise. OK,I thought he was a good user. By his name and userpage , It sounded like he was in 5th or 6th grade. He obviously he some KID, being delibeartly stupid on the wikis. Though he layed a big one on us for quite some time. -- Jabbathehuttgartogg

- "We didn't come here to discuss my student's dubious grasp on the Force."
- ―Lucien Draay
In short, please stop biting the user, as it is off-topic (and unacceptable anyway). I looked at it through my fingers, like we say in Russia, but if such user-bashing continues in the future, I will probably have to resort to more, erm, active methods of persuasion. - Sikon 15:13, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
