Fork-nosed ice worms were a rare species of worm that could be found on Hoth,[1] a frozen Outer Rim planet.[2] In 3 ABY,[3] Doctor Chelli Aphra visited the world and recovered a fossilized fork-nosed ice worm. Aphra brought the fossil to the Shadow University, where she sold it to Sava Estat.[1]

Fork-nosed ice worms first appeared in the comic book Doctor Aphra (2020) 1, which was written by Alyssa Wong, illustrated by Marika Cresta,[1] and published on May 4, 2020 by Marvel Comics.[4]
