- "Fori lost two of her team in a firefight, escaping from some cheap system security."
- ―Marda Ro, in her journal
Fori's team was a team of raiders led by the Twi'lek Fori Nagor that was formed[1] at some point no earlier than 379 BBY[2] and served Marda Ro—the Evereni[1] founder of a group of pirates who would eventually become the Nihil.[3] At some point, the team was involved in a firefight with system security and during the team's escape two of its members were killed. After the incident, Ro took[1] her[4] ship, the Gaze Electric, away from known systems so her pirates could lie low.[1]
Sometime later—while the Evereni twins Vika and Velya Faer were staying with the raiders—a feast was thrown on the Gaze Electric, and a member of the team baked finger cakes for the occasion. Later, Ro mentioned the team in a recording she made for her descendants.[1] By 252 BBY,[5] during his youth, Ro's great-great-grandson Marchion Ro had listened to her journal, including the message where Fori's team was mentioned.[4]
Behind the scenes
Fori's team was mentioned in the short story "A Closed Fist Has No Claws," written by Tessa Gratton and published in the 2023 young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[1]

As The High Republic: Temptation of the Force establishes she introduced Marchion Ro to Marda Ro's journal, he must have listened to it by that year.
