The Fordon system was located in the Savareen sector of the Outer Rim Territories within grid square Q-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Fordon system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[2] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via a mention in the 1993 sourcebook Wanted by Cracken, which was written by Louis J. Prosperi and published by West End Games for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3]
