Fondar Etzis was a Force-sensitive human who served as a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the Republic Era. At some point, he was assigned to the planet Mina-Rau to deal with Quillian bandits who had been stealing the local farmers' crop yield. Soon after completing his mission, he was killed by Corlis Rath via a poison. The Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, and Aayla Secura were sent to retrieve his body. Etzis wielded a blue-bladed lightsaber.^[2]
