A communications tower was located on[2] the Core Worlds[3] astronomical object Foerost.[2] By 1 BBY,[1] the Drabatan Paodok'Draba'Takat Sap'De'Rekti Nik'Linke'Ti' Ki'Vef'Nik'NeSevef'Li'Kek carried out a successful mission for the Alliance to Restore the Republic in which he destroyed the communications tower.[2]
In 1 BBY,[1] after the rebel group Rogue One arrived on the planet Scarif, Imperial pilot-turned-rebel Bodhi Rook pointed out the Citadel Tower, noting that all communications in and out of the base—which they planned to infiltrate—passed through it. Captain Cassian Andor vaguely recalled Pao's demolitions mission to destroy the tower on Foerost—noting it was similar to the one on Scarif—and made a note to ask the Drabatan about it.[4]
Behind the scenes
The Foerost communications tower was first mentioned in Alexander Freed's novelization of the Anthology Series film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story released in 2016.[4]
