- "I hope it melds well with your Jedi Master's own metalwork."
"It will. Master Flik-Lant will be able to finesse anything he needs, if it's necessary."
"Tell him I'd love to have a drink with him sometime to trade secrets." - ―Limal Pakt and Elzar Mann
Flik-Lant was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. He was stationed at the Jedi Temple on[1] the Core Worlds planet[2] Coruscant, where he worked as the Temple's metalsmith. At one point, he created a diadem for Jedi Stellan Gios, which he then gave to his friend and fellow Jedi Avar Kriss.[1]
In 228 BBY,[3] Jedi Master Elzar Mann, another of Kriss' friends, decided to not visit Flik-Lant when he wanted to have a new diadem made for Kriss after she had sold her first while trapped in the Nihil pirates Occlusion Zone. Mann instead visited the metalsmith Limal Pakt, who operated a shop in Coruscant's Federal District. Once she was finished, Pakt teasingly stated to Mann that she would like to have a drink with Flik-Lant to trade secrets about their craft. Mann, however, mentally noted that he would not tell Flik-Lant that as he knew that Flik-Lant was particular about his work.[1]
Behind the scenes

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic: Temptation of the Force takes place one year and six weeks after the destruction of Starlight Beacon and its events span a few months, it must be set in 228 BBY.
