A Flare Jacket was a specialized self-defense jacket manufactured by Ayelixe/Krongbing Textiles.[1]
Designed with several capacitive charges woven into the seams of the jacket, a wearer could activate these charges and release a blinding and stunning flash of concentrated light - allowing for a quick escape. The main drawback to the jacket was that its internal power source was small, and required several minutes to recharge between uses.[1]
