Fireworks were colorful pyrotechnic displays used for celebrations or special occasions, such as Empire Day on Lothal,^[3] the death of Emperor Sheev Palpatine,^[1] and Boonta Eve on Tatooine.^[7] A type of spinning firework, called a firecracker pinwheel, was used during the Republic Day celebrations of the Galactic Republic.^[10]
